NEWS LETTER MAY 2026 : RH-100 Rod Holder

newsletter-vol010-20260501

When I first saw the RH-100, something felt a little strange.

I expected the fishing rod to be mounted in front of the handlebar.

But it wasn’t.

It is mounted closer to the rider.

At first, I wondered why.

Then I learned the reason.

The developer often rides a Brompton to go fishing.

By mounting the rod in this position, it stays out of the way when the bike is folded.

Suddenly, it all made sense.

Sometimes, a small design detail has a very practical reason behind it.

Now I’m curious.

How does it work on other folding bikes?

If you have tried it, we’d love to hear from you.
